June cabinet sales show mixed results: KCMA survey

RESTON, Va. - Despite cabinet sales rising 4.5% in June compared to May figures, year-over-year revenues by participants in KCMA's monthly Trend of Business Survey dropped 3.0% in June compared to 2022 numbers.

June sales reported by survey respondents were $246,757. Of that, $66,910 was custom, $139,339 was semi-custom and $40,508 was stock, according to the June summary report.

Year-to-date sales for survey participants were $1.463 million through June. Custom sales were $406,398, semi-custom sakes were $823,898 and stock sales were $232, 650.

Estimated sales for the overall market in June were $1.575 million and estimated sales year-to-date for the overall market were $8.984 million.

The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) represents kitchen cabinet and bath vanity manufacturers and key suppliers of goods and services to the industry. KCMA has been compiling and reporting industry sales data for more than 40 years.
