The
Wood Products Quality Council
announced Sep. 18 that
Decor Cabinets
, a manufacturer of kitchen cabinets, has become the first company in Manitoba to be certified through the
WOODMARK Quality Certification Program
. Decor operates out of a 145,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in Morden, MB, and currently employs a team of more than 350 employees. Through the development of its WOODMARK quality program, the company has been able to reduce costs significantly by decreasing internal rework, standardizing critical machine centers and increasing focus on comprehensive training.
