EASTHAMPTON, MA — The October Co., a manufacturer of accessories and components for builders of custom closets and furniture, announced that it has achieved California Air Resources Board (CARB) Rule compliance for its family of products using composite wood materials, such as their silverware trays, jewelry trays and closet components. The company says it has also pressed for 100% compliance for every custom furniture accessory they sell and in every state.
“It completely meshed with the character of our organization,” stated Jim Thompson, vice president. “We’re constantly looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment. The CARB Rule was a great reason to force ourselves to reexamine the core material within many of our finest products.”
