PERRY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Centennial Woodworking celebrated a major milestone on June 15 with a ceremonial groundbreaking for its new manufacturing facility and showroom in Perry Township, Michigan.
The company, currently operating out of a 6,000-square-foot facility in Laingsburg, Michigan, specializes in kitchen and bath cabinetry, closet systems, and custom millwork. After years of growth, Centennial Woodworking had outgrown its existing facility and is now investing in an expanded space that will house updated machinery and broadened operations — marking the beginning of an exciting next chapter for the business.
“This new facility represents an exciting new chapter for us — more space, better equipment, and the ability to serve our clients at an even higher level. We are deeply rooted in this area, and we couldn't be more excited to grow right here at home,” said Lynette Salyer, production manager/designer.
The new location is expected to provide greater visibility in the surrounding community and improved accessibility for clients throughout the region.
"Centennial Woodworking is a great example of the kind of homegrown business success we love to celebrate in our region,” said Justin Horvath, president/CEO of SEDP. “We are thrilled to see them expand their operations here and look forward to watching them thrive in their new facility.”
