Whether you have a weekend shop in the garage or a 10,000 square foot commercial set-up, the one thing that unites all shops is the need for organization.

For the perfect working setup, you build, you tear down, you move, you shuffle -  and then you build again. All for that delicate balance of space and function. It’s a dance, and as soon as you feel you have the steps mastered in the shop, you have to venture out into the field and all your careful planning goes out the window.

Good stacking hard cases and large rolling bags are great, but like any good craftsman knows, you need the right tool for the right job. There are big site projects where you bring the whole arsenal, lay down the floor protection and set up your full shop away from the shop. But sometimes there are small jobs or tune ups where bringing 3 suitcases full of tools is not only unnecessary, it's just a pain.

For these jobs, the DEWALT Lighted Tool Backpack Bag is a great solution. With 48 multi-use pockets inside and 9 on the outside, this backpack gives you the storage you need while letting you organize to your heart’s content.
Yes, your standard toolbox could work for this. But for someone like me, who does a lot of work in city buildings and other places where you don’t drive to, being able to carry around something on my back instead of using a toolbox really makes a big difference.

And the fact that it gives me the same storage as a toolbox while giving me 2 free hands is great. Along with ample storage, the DEWALT Lighted Tool Backpack Bag like its name suggests, comes with a LED light that offers you not only the ability to light your work space but can also be turned inside the bag to give you a better view of your tools.

At the end of the day it is just a backpack and you could get by with throwing your tools in any standard bag and be on your way. But for someone like me who is just as conscious of the finished project as with how I got there, a well designed bag with thought out pockets and a very smart light feature is very much appreciated.
