Hello, I bought an old driftwood coffee table that appears to have been stained a darker color at one time. Is it possible to bleach over this in order to lighten and restore the wood? Do I need to strip the existing paint before bleaching? Can I use an oil like Danish oil over painted driftwood? How can I make the wood lighter and more natural looking?
