The 2014 Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo will be heldApril 9-11 in Somerset, NJ.

The three-day event, organized by Woodworking Network, begins with a day-long educational conference at the Hotel Somerset-Bridgewater, with tracks dedicated to closets and home storage business, custom cabinetry, and general custom interiors business marketing and operations.

The 2013 edition of Cabinets & Closets Expo held earlier in nearby Edison, NJ was nearly sold out, with brisk show traffic and strong conference attendance. This resulted in a move to larger quarters at the Garden State Convention Center in Somerset, providing space for an anticipated expansion. The one-day Cabinets & Closets Conference, featuring the ever-popular Industry Networking Reception, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at nearby the Hotel Somerset - Bridgewater.

Peer-to-peer presentations will include closet and cabinet shop woodworking business operators who will share their real-world knowledge for improving the efficiencies of their companies, from drumming up new business and cost estimating, to design and production.

Educational tracks specially created for custom cabinet manufacturing owners and managers, and for closet professionals, launches with a general plenary session and nationally known keynoters.

Highlights of the latest research into business, consumer and design trends in the custom cabinet and closet markets will be presented by Laurel Didier, group publisher of Woodworking Network.

The day-long Cabinets Conference also includes a Peer2Peer Luncheon and is capped off by an All-Delegate Networking Reception that features presentation of awards to winners of the 21st Annual Woodwork Design Portfolio and 8th Annual Top Shelf Closet Design Awards.
