Hey guys, I have this beautiful slab that I cut a few days ago that I want to prevent cracking. I’m not sure when the tree was cut but it’s fairly moist and I’be only seen info on sealing end grains. I have already planed and sanded it and I’m about to stain it. Can I put an iron nitrate coat on it and then seal both faces of the slab with anchorseal ? I cant find info on how much area to leave to allow for moisture release or if I even need to.
