$58.63B: Projected size of the global home office furniture market by 2031, rising from an anticipated $41.21 billion USD in 2026 at a 7.31% CAGR, according to Mordor Intelligence. In 2025, desks and tables had 33.74% of the market, followed by chairs and sofas (29.72%), and storage units (18.15%), with the remaining 18.39% split between lighting, acoustic panels, and accessories. Wood substrate(engineered panels and lumber) accounted for almost half (45.78%) of the revenue share, with 28.34% from composite panels alone.

6 billion: The number of board feet of timber saved annually through extended service life by chemically treated/preserved lumber. Market.us projects the global wood preservation chemicals market, valued at $2 billion USD in 2025, to reach $3.1 billion by 2035, growing at a CAGR of 4.6% (2026-2035). Construction dominated the end-use segment in 2025, with 63.5% market share.

4.78%: Anticipated CAGR (2026-2031) of the global woodworking machinery market, reaching $6.94 billion USD in 2031. Residential construction, an upswing in global furniture and cabinetry demand, and an increasing adoption of CNC systems to offset the skilled labor shortage and rising labor costs, are driving growth. Mordor Intelligence estimates the 2026 market size at $5.49 billion.
