Sunrise Kitchens, a B.C. cabinet maker, acquires U.S.-based Hertco Kitchens

Sunrise Kitchens continues to expand with the acquisition of a U.S.-based cabinet maker.

SURREY, B.C., Canada — Sunrise Kitchens has acquired Hertco Kitchens in Ferndale, Washington, as the company looks to expand its network and market presence in the U.S.

This move expands Sunrise Kitchens' expertise into the Western United States market and establishes a strong presence through a network of dealers targeting large-scale projects, the company said.

"The addition of Hertco aligns with our growth objectives and allows us to broaden our reach to serve a wider customer base," said Paul Bhogal, president and CEO of Sunrise Kitchens.

As a family-owned and operated business for more than 40 years, Hertco Kitchens has become a leader in the US market with a robust dealer network and a focus on producing quality kitchen cabinets. The company operates out of a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.

Sunrise Kitchens' Business Development team has been actively working to create a dealer network and expand its business in the US, with a specific focus on the Western United States. The acquisition of Hertco represents a significant milestone in this initiative and creates a strong foundation for future growth.
