McKINNEY, Texas -- CIC Coatings has announced the appointment of Jeff Takac to the position of vice president of sales for North America. CIC manufactures and distributes high performance wood and metal coatings. Takac’s focus will be leading CIC Coatings’ Centurion Interior Architectural Wood Coatings business initiatives in the United States and Canada. He will also be responsible for the marketing function as well as building customer partnerships throughout North America.

Takac has more than 20 years’ experience in the coatings and wood finishes industries including several senior leadership positions for IVM Chemicals, Valspar, and Sherwin-Williams.
