Benz Inc recently released its newest generation of adjustable right-angle head-type, Flex with Digital Display. Depending on the machine and the application, customers can choose between two alternative designs: the grease-lubricated Classic Line or the oil-bath lubricated Premium Line. Both models of the Benz Flex D swivel head are available for all machine brands and spindle connections, says the company. The new angle head Flex D Classic Lie offers a maximum input speed of 15,000 rpm, while maintaining a smooth, low vibration operation, adds Benz. The Flex D offers intuitive adjustment procedures for setting the output angle. It has an integrated, easy-to-read display which reflects the spindle-axis angle with an accuracy of 0.10 of 1 degree. The output connection is designed to allow machining with drilling tools, router bits and saw blades.
