Project details
This premiere custom executive walk-in closet and dressing room offers many unique features behind every surface and a focus on unobtrusive, yet maximized storage, while maintaining strict adherence to the homes aesthetic. Some examples are the 36-inch and deeper drawers and hidden spaces in what appears to be fairly standard closet cabinet depth, created by a vaulted roof-line. The normally wasted spaces below gables were put to use for a busy customer who travels often. Custom 60-inch deep, maximum-duty luggage pullouts recessed into typically unused space below the gables, thereby creating the ability to store and access luggage exactly where it is used, rather than in another room while keeping it uniquely concealed away when not in use. Additionally, all of the storage spaces have well defined uses creating deft efficiency when preparing for an important day or simply putting socks away.
The challenge was to go well beyond standard panel construction to maximize every square inch of the space, all the way back into the tightest corner and voids created by the unique geometry of the roof framing.
