A woodworking robot, with the special ability to help oversee the production of approximately 1,200 cabinets per week without human lifting, will star at the 2013 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo (WMS 2013) and at the Wood Tech Summit Leadership Conference.
A veritable clone of Ernest, the robot shown in this video running the cabinet making workcell at Ro-Bois-Tic, will be featured at CNC Automation's booth 5068 at WMS 2013, Oct. 24-26 at the International Centre in Toronto.
On Wednesday, Oct. 23, the day before WMS 2013 opens, Bastien Larouche, owner of Ro-Bois-Tic near Quebec City, QC, will present an update on his one-man, one-robot business featured on the February cover of Wood Products magazine.
Registration for Wood Tech Summit not only includes admission to WMS 2013, but allows for half-price registration for teammates.
