Senco’s new Lightweight Portable Air Compressors for finish and trim applications includes the Model PC1280, a six-gallon, oil-free pancake compressor that combines power, speed and portability, says the company. The PC1280 delivers 2.8 SCFM at 90 PSI with a maximum operating pressure of 150 PSI, offering airflow and a quick recovery time, says Senco, for installation of baseboards, molding, window and door casings and cabinetry. The 38-lb. PC1280 features a compact design and in-line grip handle, designed to make it easy to carry and maneuver, adds the company. The pump and motor are completely covered and the housing offers built-in storage for fasteners, safety glasses and hoses. It features a 1.5 running horsepower motor that starts and runs off 12 amps. The oil-free pump design will reduce maintenance and eliminate the risk of spills, says Senco, and it features dual couplers to power multiple tools simultaneously. The MSRP is $159 to $179. All Senco compressors have a one-year limited warranty.
