American Woodmark names May new V-P. and chief marketing officer

WINCHESTER, Va. -- American Woodmark Corp., a manufacturer of cabinetry for the new construction and remodeling industries, has announced that Teresa May will be stepping down from the company's board of directors and joining the company as senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

In this role May will lead enterprise marketing, which includes brand, customer experience, product development, internal and external communications, digital strategy, content and creative development, along with insights and analytics.

May will report directly to Cary Dunston, chairman and CEO. Prior to joining American Woodmark, Teresa was senior V-P. and chief marketing officer for Asurion and held senior level roles at Owens Corning, Stanley Black & Decker, Danaher and The Procter & Gamble Co.
