Vira Insights new plant

LEWISVILLE, Texas - Texas-based millwork and store fixtures maker Vira Insight has opened a 350,000 square foot manufacturing plant and headquarters in North Texas. Vira specializes in millwork for retail and commercial environments.

The new plant is part of the company's 25th-anniversary celebration, along with a new website and logo.

Around 112 employees will work at the new facility. 11 workers are needed for hire.

Vira Insight's work for Kohl's

Vira has designed and built custom retail interiors for 25 years, specializing in rapid design and fabrication of interior spaces, fixtures, displays, safety products, and anti-theft solutions. Clients include some of the world's largest retailers, like Walgreens, Target, Samsung, CVS, Best Buy, and Kohl's.

“We believe a space that is custom-designed for a business, its employees and its customers lead to performance," said CEO Jeff Jones. "Our own office is proof: After returning our employees to a redesigned, safe environment, we have seen more productivity, more sales closings, more deadlines hit on time and greater satisfaction among our customers,” Jones said. “Your space truly makes a difference in how your business performs.”

Vira says its business excelled over the past year, despite COVID. Some of the success was due to higher demand for the company's anti-theft products, as Vira says shoplifting hit record levels in 2020.

In total, Vira employs 225 workers across Texas, a Michigan plant, and a Chinese location, according to Dallas Innovates.
