WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. - Woodgrain Millwork, one of the largest millwork producers in North America and number 37 on the FDMC 300, has acquired Tennessee-based Lowe's Millwork.

Lowe's primarily manufacturers exterior doors.

“This acquisition furthers our mission of making millwork easy by expanding our product offering and enhancing our vertical integration," said Woodgrain Distribution president Todd Dame. "We are excited to welcome the highly skilled Lowe’s millwork associates to the Woodgrain family and know they will continue to deliver on our commitment of quality millwork products."

The acquisition comes soon after Woodgrain's announcement to invest $10 million in Georgia. The investment will allow Woodgrain to expand its facility in Leesburg, Georgia by 156,000 square feet. Around 150 new jobs will be added.

Demand for the company's products prompted the expansion.

Woodgrain is one of the continent's largest producers of mouldings, doors, and windows. It operates 11 manufacturing plants and saw an estimated $250 million in sales in 2020.

The company employs around 3,000.
