NORWOOD, Ma. - Cabinet manufacturer Metropolitan Cabinets has received $23 million in financing from Eastern Bank.

Metropolitan, number 205 on the FDMC 300 list of biggest North American woodworking companies, operates a 150,000-square-foot plant in Massachusetts and saw an estimated $25 million in sales in 2020. The company employs 160 workers.

“Metropolitan is excited to be working with Eastern Bank,” said Metropolitan founder and president Stuart Elfland.

The financing includes a revolving line of credit as well as financing for real estate. 

Founded in 1984, Metropolitan specializes in cabinets and countertops.
