WMCO webinar to ID government funding opps for wood manufacturers

HANOVER, Ontario – Government Funding Programs for Wood Manufacturers is the title of a June 3 webinar being organized by the Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario, formerly the Bluewater Wood Alliance.

Bernadeen McLeod, Mentor WorksThe online networking event is free and open to all interested wood product professionals. 

Guest speaker Bernadeen McLeod, president and founder of Mentor Works Ltd., will lead the discussion. McLeod previously worked as an executive and general manager in the manufacturing sector for 18 years. She will share her knowledge for tapping into government funding programs on both the federal and provincial levels.

Potential uses for government funds include:

  • Hire and train employees;
  • Adopt new technologies;
  • Perform cutting-edge research and development projects; and
  • Reach export markets.

The event is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. ET Thursday, June 3.
