Presentations to address the pandemic's effects on woodworking businesses and the state of the closets and organized storage industry.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Woodworking Network will present the results of two exclusive industry studies during the course of IWF Connect, October 26-30.  The studies are currently underway and will reveal up-to-the minute data on key aspects of the industry as it faces unprecedented challenges and opportunities brought about by the pandemic.

The first presentation, "Exclusive survey results: Covid 19's effects on the industry and the outlook for 2021," will be presented by  Woodworking Network editors, Will Sampson and Bobby Dalheim, on October 26 at 12:15 Eastern.  They will share insights on emerging best practices for manufacturers working to increase production while keeping their plants, products, and employees safe. Among the questions survey participants were asked: How much of an impact has the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak had on your business? How are you currently handling business, client, and public contacts? Did you apply for a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan? What is your outlook for 2021? This is the third such study of the industry conducted by Woodworking Network since the pandemic outbreak.

Another exclusive study, "The state of the closets and organized storage industry," will be presented by Closets & Organized Storage publisher, Laurel Didier, and editor, Michaelle Bradford.  The study has been conducted annually for several years and will be the first such study conducted during the pandemic era.  The presentation is scheduled for October 28 at 1 p.m. Eastern
