FS Tool’s Lineage XLC technology extends tool life by protecting the cutting edge from erosion in high-wear applications such as machining MDF.
MISSISSAUGA -- FS Tool/FS Cruing, a full-service manufacturer of cutting tools for woodworking, plastics, composites and metals, will highlight three distinctive product groupings at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo, Canada’s premier woodworking event.

The wide array of products the company will display at WMS booth #2321 includes:

FS Tool’s Lineage XLC technology extends tool life by protecting the cutting edge from erosion in high-wear applications such as machining MDF. The company says the molecular engineered XLC coating allows more than 40% longer run-time while also improving cutting tool performance after sharpening. In a similar vein, FS Tool says its high-polished O flutes provide extended run-times and edge integrity for aluminum and plastic cutting applications.

FS Cruing’s PCD Diamond MDF Shaker door tooling is so precise that it eliminates sanding. Through special partnership with Biesse, machine operators can reduce setup by using a predefined set of tools and CNC program to run them on Biesse CNC routers.

FS Cruing’s CØNSTANT pre-milling cutters feature high-shear replaceable cutting inserts giving them a leg up on traditional brazed cutting heads. Edgebander operators only need to replace cutting edges that are worn or damaged to quickly resume production.
