Dressers recalled for violating tipover standard

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled the Mill Valley Junior, a six-drawer dresser manufactured by LFN Limited and sold exclusively at Rooms to Go. This recall involves dressers approximately 57½ inches long by 18 inches wide by 35 inches high, and weighing about 132 pounds. Although no injuries have been reported, the CPSC has found the dresser to be a tip-over risk.

Interfor plans additional lumber production cuts

BURNABY, British Columbia – In response to what it termed “persistently weak market conditions,” Interfor Corp. announced plans to reduce its lumber production by approximately 175 million board feet between May and September of 2024. The reductions represent nearly 10% of the company’s normal operating stance.

RALEIGH, NC — IMA Schelling USA, a provider of panel and plate saws, edgebanders, and material handling equipment, is launching a new website for their factory-certified refurbished machines. The website provides a new communication channel between their Rebuild Center and customers, making in-stock product photos, specifications, and warranty information readily available.
