PHILADELPHIA — Near the end of April, a Pennsylvania lumber company shattered the Guinness World Record for having the most people simultaneously knocking on wood. According to the Guinness World Record website, the previous record-breaker was 295 people and was achieved by DZI Insurance Company, in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 13th August 2021.

C.R. Onsrud, a 2023 winner of the "Coolest Thing Made in NC" competition is hosting a Factory Demo Day on May 8, 2024, allowing manufacturers to see live demonstrations of CNC machines in action.

City of Hope's International Home Furnishings Industry fundraising group, with the help of Spirit of Life honorees Flexsteel Industries and KUKA Home, raised more than $1.94 million for the City of Hope.

The summit takes place July 17-18 in Washington, D.C. The event is co-hosted by the National Wood Flooring Association, North American Laminate Flooring Association, Natural Stone Institute, and The Council of North America Inc.
