LAS VEGAS - Women of Woodworking (WOW!), a group of women dedicated to provide a space for women working in wood products manufacturing, will meet at an AWFS luncheon July 18.

"The WOW group was established to provide a gathering space for women working in businesses that serve wood products manufacturing," said Laurel Didier, publisher of Closets & Organized Storage. "WOW provides a safe haven for women to discuss challenges, opportunities and successes in their jobs. Networking is the key to the success of the group and sharing resources."

The group was formed at AWFS 2015. The original 15 members represented cabinet, furniture, machinery, hardware, and media companies. Now, the group has expanded to more than 60 members and meets annually at big industry events. The group also met at this year's Ligna.
