Discounted rates for ACSP certifications

ACSP’s certification program, offering designers and installers an opportunity to boost their credentials, is the first available specifically for the storage community,

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – The Association of Closet & Storage Professionals (ACSP) is offering discounted rates to Closets Conference & Expo attendees for its designer and installer certification exams. Sponsored by JB Cutting, the exams will be held on Thursday, April 18, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Schaumburg Convention Center.

ACSP’s certification program, offering designers and installers an opportunity to boost their credentials, is the first available specifically for the storage community. “The program's main objective is to assist business owners, designers, and installers in marketing their skills, promoting their achievements, and defining their careers to both consumers and employers as the true, established professionals in this competitive and specialized field,” the association said on its website.

With a 40 percent discount off the original exam fee of $275, designers can take the exam for $165 (either Level 1 registered or Level 2 certified), and installers can take the exam for $80. In addition, designers will have six weeks after Closets Expo to submit the required design challenges to complete the certification process.

All test takers must bring their own device (laptop, tablet) that can connect to Wi-Fi, and a new pre-requisite this year is that to take the exams, show attendees must be current members of ACSP.
