Live in San Diego, it’s Woodworking Network!

Attendees will compete to assemble and install a custom-designed storage space on each day of the show at Woodworking Network Live, booth #623.

SAN DIEGO – Woodworking Network Live (WWN Live) will shine a spotlight on industry trends, best practices, and technology, while also bringing a bit of fun to the show floor of the co-located Closets Expo and Wood Pro Expo California.

The free educational programs that will be presented at WWN Live – booth #623 -- each day of the show will be anchored by The Great Closets Challenge for Designers.  

Here’s a quick run-down of the WWN Live schedule.

THURSDAY, APRIL 28

10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
10 Questions with Mike Carson
Laurel Didier, publisher of Closets & Organized Storage, will interview Mike Carson, owner of Inspired Closets. Carson is a recognized leader of the Closets industry and was the first recipient of the Pioneer Award from the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals. In 2009, he was named a Wood Industry Market Leader by Woodworking Networking.

12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Live Lean Manufacturing Podcast with Brad Cairns
Join FDMC Editorial Director Will Sampson as he records a live podcast with Brad Cairns, senior principal of The Center for Lean Learning/Quantum Lean. Cairns, who authors a column on lean manufacturing for FDMC, will also present a free keynote presentation at 9 a.m. Friday, April 29. 

1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
WOOD TAIWAN Presentation
Daniel Godwin, representative of Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), will lead a discussion of new woodworking technologies manufactured in Taiwan and how they address key automation and sustainability trends. His presentation will include videos of the equipment in action.

2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Eric Olsen, founder and CEO of Fasturtle, will discuss which digital marketing channels are most effective; SEO and social media best practices for lead generation; and how marketing on the internet helps closet and garage companies grow and succeed in a highly competitive and congestive market.

12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
How to Sell Your Health-and-Wellness Advantages to Discerning Customers
Kenn Busch, founder of Material Intelligence and Columnist for Closets & Organized Storage, will identify the “healthy materials” closet and cabinet professionals can use in their projects. 

1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

2022 Closets Expo Registration

About the 2022 Closets Conference & Expo and Wood Pro Expo California
The Closets Conference & Expo is the annual national event for closet and home storage professionals. It is co-located with Wood Pro Expo California (WPE), a regional marketplace for woodworking professionals. The events are organized by Closets & Organized Storage and FDMC magazines respectively, each part of Woodworking Network. The twin-bill event is scheduled for April 27-29, 2022, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.

The Closets Expo and WPE each kick off with a separate full-day conference on April 27, followed by the two-day expo, April 28-29, featuring woodworking machinery, supplies, and components. Additional educational programming is offered on both days of the expo.
