SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Closets Conference & Expo, alongside Wood Pro Expo Illinois, will take place April 17 to 19 at the Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. The educational sessions kick off on April 17 with "How to Launch a Design Studio Through Collaboration," which will offer closet design professionals tips on how to take their businesses to the next level through strategic collaboration.

With years of combined experience in the industry, Jenny O’Connor, design director at Bespoke Closets/Burke Architectural Millwork, and Lis Ritz, designer at Inspired Closets Chicago, will answer key questions and provide actionable insights for attendees.

The session will cover the numerous benefits of establishing a design studio as a core component of a closet company's operations. From enhancing creativity and streamlining the design process to fostering collaboration and boosting brand visibility, a well-executed design studio can be a powerful asset for businesses of all sizes.

The classroom portion of the conference will be followed by a tour of the showroom of Perfection Closets and Inspired Closets Chicago, sponsored by Hafele America. The annual Closets Conference & Expo (CCE) is the only national event for all closet and home storage professionals. The 2024 edition is co-located with Wood Pro Expo Illinois (WPE), a regional marketplace for woodworking professionals. CCE and WPE each kick off with a separate full-day conference on April 17, co-sponsored by the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals and Cabinet Makers Association, respectively. The two-day co-located expo, April 18-19, features woodworking machinery, supplies, and components. Additional educational programming is offered on each day of the expo.
