SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – Representatives of Carolina Closets Manufacturing will be on hand at the Closets Expo to discuss the benefits of the company’s dealership program. The Closets Expo, co-located with Wood Pro Expo Illinois, will take place April 18-19 at the Schaumburg Convention Center.
Carolina Closets was established in the early 2000s by the Prewett family. The closet and home organization specialist later launched Carolina Closets Manufacturing as an additional business element to serve dealer and builder clients.
Faced with capacity concerns in 2022 and 2023, Carolina Closet made the strategic decision to temporarily pause accepting new business. Leadership took the opportunity to assess and optimize every aspect of the company’s Anderson, S.C., operations from production processes to technology infrastructure. The result, the company says, is a leaner, more efficient operation. (See video below.)
Armed with increased capacity, an expanded staff, and a renewed focus on efficiency, the Carolina Closet Manufacturing has resumed signing up new dealer and builder clients.

About the Closets Conference & Expo and Wood Pro Expo Illinois
The annual Closets Conference & Expo (CCE) is the only national event for all closet and home storage professionals. The 2024 edition is co-located with Wood Pro Expo Illinois (WPE), a regional marketplace for woodworking professionals. The events are organized by Closets & Organized Storage and FDMC magazines respectively. Each is a distinct media brand of Woodworking Network. The twin-bill event is scheduled for April 17-19, 2024, at the Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Ill.

CCE and WPE each kick off with a separate full-day conference on April 17, co-sponsored by the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals and Cabinet Makers Association respectively. The two-day co-located expo, April 18-19, features woodworking machinery, supplies, and components. Additional educational programming is offered on each day of the expo.
