SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – Hampton Lumber will feature a pair of lightweight wood panel products at the Closets Conference & Expo, co-located with Wood Pro Expo Illinois. The two-day exhibition, preceded by a full day of conferences, is scheduled for April 18-19 at the Schaumburg Convention Center.

For starters, Hampton Lumber will display its Engineered Lite Weight Wood Panels. Key features of the panels include:

• Sandwich construction with thin MDF on either face of a lumber blockboard core
• 4’ x 8’ panels are 18mm thick
• Panels weigh 50 lbs. each, about half of standard MDF
• Flat and stable
• Designed for high-pressure laminates
• Made with “green” plantation grown wood
• $30 a sheet Closets Expo show special

In addition, Hampton Lumber will exhibit its Lite Wood Shelving. Key features include:

• Sandwich construction with thin MDF on either face of a lumber blockboard core
• White laminate edgebanding on all four sides
• Flat and stable
• Cut-to-size available
