Choice Machinery celebrates milestone 25-years in the making

HOLLAND, Mich. — This month, Choice Machinery Group commemorates the 25th anniversary of Dave Barnett, one of the company's founders, shipped his first machine from Barnett Design Works (BDW).

A quarter of a century ago, the company said that a vision was set into motion, and it paved the way for the innovations and accomplishments that the company stands for today. Barnett Design Works had humble beginnings, starting in the basement of Dave Barnett's home. Despite the modest start, Barnett's vision was grand: manufacturing custom machinery tailored for the secondary wood processing industry. This vision not only set the foundation for BDW but also helped shape what Choice Machinery Group is today, the company said.

Choice Machinery Group manufactures American-made machinery brands in Holland, Michigan. The company manufactures equipment under the Ritter Machinery and Evans Midwest Machinery banners.
