Inaugural Flooring Sustainability Summit slated

WASHINGTON D.C. — The inaugural Flooring Sustainability Summit is slated to take place July 17-18 in Washington, D.C. The event is co-hosted by the National Wood Flooring Association, North American Laminate Flooring Association, Natural Stone Institute, and The Council of North America Inc.

According to show organizers, the Flooring Sustainability Summit aims to unite a diverse array of stakeholders, including policymakers, advocacy groups, standards organizations, manufacturers, distributors, construction professionals, architects, designers, and procurement officers. The collaborative gathering will provide a platform for panel discussions, networking sessions, and working groups, facilitating learning opportunities, and fostering direct lines of communication with key decision-makers in sustainability. Topics include environmental impact reduction, sustainable sourcing practices, and the latest advancements in eco-friendly flooring technologies.
