To help ease social distancing, The Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute is inviting woodworkers to share photos of projects they're currently working on.

"Share photos of the woodworking projects you’re working on during social distancing and tag a friend on our Facebook and Instagram pages to enter to win this Kreg Pocket-Hole Screw Project Kit, Pocket-Hole Jig 320 and Wood Project Clamp!" reads the contest desciption.

"We’ll randomly select a winner on Friday (3/20/20) at noon." Check out their Facebook page for more details.

The non-profit Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute is dedicated to promoting personal development through woodworking. Located in Adrian, Michigan, Beauford provides woodworking classes for all ages as well as job training, workforce development and rehabilitation services. The SBWI is an accredited education center recognized by the Woodworking Career Alliance of North America - providing certification for over 250 different machine operations.

The Institute recently made the decision to cancel its annual Great Lakes Woodworking Festival scheduled for May 2-3. Around 5,000 were set to attend.
