WCMA launches monthly virtual roundtable events

LINDSTROM, Minn. – The Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA) has launched monthly virtual roundtable events for 2021. Topics have been selected based on member input, and qualified speakers scheduled.

After each presentation, attendees will have a chance to join a table and discuss the topic in more depth. Each attendee will also have an opportunity to meet with the presenter.

The upcoming schedule is as follows:

May 27: OSHA Requirements and COVID-19
Presented by: J. Larry Stine with Wimberly, Lawson, Steckel, Schneider & Stine P.C

June 24: Machinery Maintenance
Presented by: Weinig Holz-Her

July 22: U.S. Hardwood Supply and Demand Update
Presented by: Judd Johnson with Hardwood Market Report

Aug. 26: Tips and Tricks for Sanding Operations
Presented by: Timesavers, Inc.

Future topics will include:
•    Cybersecurity and How to Protect your Company
•    Risk and Insurance
•    The True Cost of a New ERP
•    Wide Belt Sander Operations and How to Fix Them
•    Other subjects important to the audience
