DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec – Sugatsune Canada will showcase a variety of new products for the cabinet and architectural woodwork industry at Salon Industriel du Bois Ouvré (SIBO).

Among the products that Sugatsune plans to display include:

The Aileron is a lid support kit with adjustable lift assist, free stop, and soft-close functions that creates a smooth user experience while freeing up space to create greater storage. Engineered to make installation quick and flexible, the Aileron is mounted to the top of an upper cabinet or top box by simply clipping it onto the hinge.

The Aileron set includes the Olympia hinge, the first of its kind built with Sugatsune’s patented Lapcon technology. It offers soft closing that is five-speed adjustable by manipulating the clicker. The mechanism catches the lid at 0°–30° preventing it from slamming shut. The Olympia hinge has passed 200,000 cycle tests.

Sugatsune Gs-G
The GS-G series features a glass door lock, hinges, and bracket for total coordination.

Featuring a glass door lock, hinges, and bracket for total coordination, the GS-G series allows for a seamless design that compliments the items within the showcase. There are three sets in three finishes each available for different sizes of glass pivot doors in glass-to-glass or glass-to-wood configurations. This glass showcase hardware can support glass door weights of 11 lbs to 110 lbs depending on the model. Watch video.

Sugatsune LADH
The LADH heavy-duty lift assist helps children, the elderly, and the disabled to open a counter flap with minimal effort.

Sugatsune’s LADH heavy-duty lift assist dampers create passageways for safety and convenience. Its lift-assist function helps children, the elderly, and the disabled to open a counter flap with minimal effort. An integrated stopper holds the flap at 95° to prevent over-rotation. Its soft-closing function eliminates the counter flap from slamming shut on hands and fingers. The damper mechanism is activated at low angles; the flap does not need to be fully opened to soft-close. In addition, the lift’s surface-mounting allows retrofit into existing countertop passages.
