Most of the wood reclaimed from structures were more than 100 years old.

MANHEIM, Pa. – End Grain Design and Reclaimed Lumber, a supplier of re-purposed lumber salvaged from support beams, rafters, barn siding, and flooring from old structures, will display at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, Oct. 12-13 at Spooky Nook Sports.

Located in Lancaster County, Pa., End Grain Design maintains a large inventory of reclaimed lumber and live edge slabs. The company’s capabilities include milling, flattening, and kiln drying.

Most of the wood reclaimed from structures were more than 100 years old. End Grain Design notes, “The lumber used for these structures originally would have been cut from virgin wood. Virgin forest grew very slow making the grain tighter for a stronger grain structure. The beautiful colors, character and rich patina color can only happen with time. This in turn ages the lumber between 300 to 500 years when it was reclaimed.”

Customers use End Grain Design’s reclaimed lumber and slabs for end grain and plank flooring, furniture, mantels, wall accents, artwork and much more.
