LANCASTER, Pa. – Wood Pro Expo’s extensive education program spills onto the show floor by way of the Running Machine Program (RMP).

Four machinery exhibitors will participate in the RMP at this year’s event: Felder Group, INMES/framingsupplies.com, New CNC and RT Machine Company. Show goers are invited to attend any or all of these educational sessions for free. 

“The Running Machine Program presents a tremendous opportunity for woodworkers to see new technology in action and ask questions to learn how these types of machines and technology could add value to their businesses,” said Lewis Goldman, managing partner of Wood Pro Expo Lancaster. “Of course, there are numerous other machinery manufacturers and dealers who will be demonstrating their products under power during the show including Hatt’s Industrial, KP Walsh, CNC Factory, Hermance Machine and Timesavers to name a few.”

Each of the participating RMP companies will present scheduled 15- to 20-minute interactive demonstrations repeated on both days of the show. Here’s a quick look at what each of these WPE exhibitors plans to showcase during their timeslots.

Felder Group USA, booth #114, will present the kappa 400 x-motion sliding table saw. Features of the three axis-controlled saw include Easy Glide tilting guide system, X Roll sliding table, and automatic scoring unit and overhead touchscreen control panel. Learn more.

INMES/framingsupplies.com, booth #214, will demonstrate a work cell for producing custom cabinets. The demo will feature three key pieces of INMES made-in-Brazil machines being shown in the U.S. for the first time: FF-325 Plus sliding table saw, IC 1000 edgebander with auto feeder and roller tables for infeed and outfeed of parts and IF 8500 CNC drilling center, a vertical panel processing system that can rout, drill, mill and groove wood panels. New CNC, booth #116, plans to showcase the Talent T3 CNC panel processing center with automatic loading and unloading. The demonstration will focus on how a single operator running the machine can produce enough part assemblies for two full kitchens per day. Learn more.

RT Machine Co., booth #216, will feature the Circle T LM116 single-spindle tilting lock miter machine. The demonstration will show how the machine can make strong lock miter joints commonly seen in high-end cabinetry without need for biscuits or splines. Because there are no exposed edges, the machine eliminates the step of edgebanding or painting. Male and female profiles are both cut via a single tilting spindle. Learn more.
