Wood Industry 40 Under 40

Honorees of the Woodworking Network 40 Under 40 will be recognized at the special Leadership Reception, scheduled to take place 5-7 p.m. on Aug. 5 at the Georgia World Congress Center, the day prior to the start of the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) in Atlanta.

“All attendees and exhibitors of IWF, our industry’s largest, most important show, are invited to join us for the 40 Under 40 Leadership Reception this August,” said Tim Fixmer, president and CEO of CCI Media, the parent of Woodworking Network. “Help us celebrate the youngest, best, and brightest contributors to wood products manufacturing in North America. This year’s team of honorees will join more than 320 alumni who have been recognized with this distinction in the past.”

This year marks the ninth annual awarding of the 40 Under 40, which celebrates the next generation of industry professionals who are making an impact on wood products manufacturing in North America. Those selected have been recognized for achievements and innovations in productivity, profitability, social good, ingenuity, innovation, peer inspiration, product development, and organizational leadership.

Honorees are involved in the cabinet, furniture, closets/home organization, architectural woodwork, retail fixtures, wood components markets, industry organizations, and educational institutions.

The Wood Industry 40 Under 40 Class of 2024 is sponsored by PaintLine and Allmoxy.

“Industry growth comes in many forms. One of the most important is building young professionals into industry leaders,” said Ryan Wagner, FDMC publisher. “This class of 2024 40 Under 40 recipients are proof of that concept. It will be great to connect with them at the Leadership Reception hearing how they were inspired, how their stories helped shape them, and how they envision their future and the future of their companies as both grow together.”

Fixmer added, “Being selected a 40 Under 40 honoree is a superb distinction for these young contributors to wood products manufacturing.  Help us celebrate their achievements by joining us for this important reception on Aug. 5 in Atlanta.”
