Microjig's Matchfit clamping system offers a wide variety of options for all sorts of applications in the woodworking shop.

In the wake of IWF’s cancellation, Bruce Wang of Microjig said the company is being proactive with its outreach. “We are conducting video conference calls and providing video demonstrations of new products,” he said. “We also have a significant advertising budget building brand awareness, product knowledge, and traffic to our dealer network.”

The company is also hosting Facebook Live events for new product demonstrations, special customer promotions, and informal Q&A for technical questions.

“We’re very excited to announce the launch of our new Matchfit Dovetail Clamp AP and the X-Pad Accessory package for existing Matchfit Dovetail Clamp Users,” Wang said, noting that those products would have been highlighted at IWF.

Wang said in some respects there has been a silver lining to the crisis. “We’ve benefitted from a tremendous growth in demand with more of our customers staying at home and doing more wood projects at home,” he said. “We cannot keep up with demand and have been investing in increasing our capacity to meet this continually growing backlog.”
