AutomaTech Robotik and KUKA Robotics extend partnership to the North American market

SAINT-APOLLINAIRE, Quebec -- The long-standing partnership between the Canadian robotic automation provider AutomaTech Robotik and robot manufacturer KUKA has been extended to include the entire North American woodworking market. The focus of the partnership is to promote AutomaTech’s woodworking machine tending systems based on KUKA robots in Canada and the U.S.

KUKA provides German-engineered and built industrial robots, along with a wide range of positioners, slides, sensitive and collaborative robots, mobile platforms, mobile robots and Industry 4.0 systems.

AutomaTech Robotik is a Canadian system integrator based in Quebec that has been helping wood manufacturers achieve sustainable and growth since 1997. The company’s technological innovations recently attracted the attention of Stiles Machinery. The two companies signed a strategic partnership to blend Homag CNC equipment with proven advancements in robotic part handling based on KUKA robots.
