AWMAC appoints Audra Denny as new executive director

The Architectural Woodwork Manufacturers Association of Canada (AWMAC) announced the hiring of Audra Denny as the association’s executive director.

“Audra brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the nonprofit sector,” said Jeff Clemmons, president of AWMAC. “We are excited to welcome her to lead our organization along with our board of directors and chapters into the future.”

“Audra is a leader and critical thinker who understands the values and goals of our organization,” Clemmons added. “Along with her previous experience and education, Audra’s industriousness makes her an ideal fit for AWMAC. She will drive our mission of developing and promoting the use of AWMAC’s standards throughout the industry with new inspiration and leadership.”

Prior to joining AWMAC, Denny mot recently served as director of operations for CAAN Communities, Alliances & Networks, a non-profit nonprofit organization that leads a collective response to protect the wholistic wellness of First Nation, Inuit and Métis peoples. She earned a diploma in radio and television broadcasting technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. 

AWMAC’s membership consists of more than 400 companies and industry professionals in eight regional chapters across Canada, including architectural woodwork manufacturers, installers, material and service suppliers, design professionals, educational institutions, and other industry affiliates.
