Kalesnikoff, a mass timber products and lumber company, announced a new $34 million facility that is expected to break ground soon and open by the end of 2024. The new facility will be located between Kalesnikoff's two existing operations in the Nelson-Castlegar corridor in the B.C.
The new facility will offer new and expanded products and services, including:
- Modular construction
- Prefabricated mass timber
- Light frame components
- Custom installation-ready products
- Walls
- Flooring
- Full modular construction mass timber projects
In a LinedIn post, Chris Kalesnikoff, chief operating officer of Kalesnikoff Mass Timber, said, "Coming this winter we will open the doors on our new 80,000 sqft value add assembly facility. This new plant will focus on providing more installation ready products to complement our existing Mass Timber and Solid Wood offerings. We will soon be offering fully finished Mass Timber modular structures, prefabricated flat packed mass timber components, light frame wall and truss assemblies, and more."
