Lauten-Woodworking North Vancouver Business of the Year

NORTH VANCOUVER – Lauten Woodworking Ltd., a growing manufacturer of custom millwork and cabinetry, received the Business of the Year Award from the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce for 2023.

Lauten Woodworking was founded in 2006 by Kate Walker and Adrian Lauten. The company is the process of completing its fifth expansion. The previous expansion increased the plant’s footprint to 10,000 square feet. The company’s range of technologies includes an automated flat-line finishing system to apply polyurethane and water-based coatings.

In a Facebook post the day after receiving the award at the chamber’s annual Business Excellence Awards gala, Lauten thanked the company’s “incredible staff, pass and present.” He also thanked clients “many of whom have long supported us by returning and giving us the opportunity to deliver the highest quality millwork time and time again. This was a night Kate, and I will never forget, validation for the tireless work of starting and growing a business.”
