PORT COQUITLAM, BC - After six decades in the woodworking machinery business, and 20 years with Masse Sales, Gord Gulbranson has retired.

Gulbranson started his career at Akhurst Machinery, headquartered near Toronto, then worked his way up from entry level to senior management,  before leaving in 1995 to join Masse Sales. He joined the company as an equal partner with founder Stan Masse.

Gulbranson was a key factor in the growth of Masse, working to hire new employees, adding new suppliers and customers to its growing base, and being a strong contributor to its sales revenue.

Masse Sales, a dealer for Weinig, Martin, and CR Onsrud, says Gulbranson’s contributions to the wood industry cannot be overstated-  serving on advisory boards, mentoring new machinery salespeople, and helping many manufacturing companies grow by finding them the correct machine for their needs.
