DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec -- The 2024 edition of Salon Industriel du Bois Ouvré (SIBO) will return to the Centrexpo Cogeco in Drummondville on October 24-26, 2024.
Tim Fixmer, president and CEO of CCI Canada, said keeping SIBO in Drummondville at the Centrexpo Cogeco was an easy decision. "Exhibitors were happy with the top-notch facility and services and the center's location in the heart of Quebec. We are looking forward to SIBO's continuing growth and appreciate the support of the many exhibitors, associations, and attendees that supported the show."
SIBO has historically been the most important event for Quebec’s secondary wood products industry. SIBO 2022 attracted nearly 1,000 professional woodworkers to the Centrexpo Cogeco in Drummondville, October 27-29. The three-day show featured several dozen key woodworking machinery and supply manufacturers and distributors. The event was well-received by the majority of exhibitors and attendees surveyed. Many participants acknowledged that they were grateful to once again have a woodworking show dedicated to Quebec’s robust $8.2 billion wood products economy.
CCI Canada Inc., the organizer of the event, also owns the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo (WMS), Canada’s national industrial woodworking show. WMS is scheduled for Nov. 2-4, 2023 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario (Toronto). In addition, CCI Canada is affiliated with Woodworking Network, the North American woodworking industry’s leading source of news, technology and design trends.
