The U.S. Department of Commerce and Environmental Protection Agency will give a presentation of the federal government's E3 (Energy, Economy, Environment) Initiative and discuss some of the tools the Department of Commerce has developed to assist U.S. manufacturers in implementing sustainable manufacturing practices. E3 is a joint initiative by five federal agencies designed to harness their collective programs and competencies to create locally-run, green economy initiatives nationwide. "The E3 initiative is a good fit with the sustainability profile of UV and EB technologies," says Mickey Fortune of RadTech. "We welcome our partnership with this government program to get the word out about E3 and UV and EB technologies."
