(LAS VEGAS)-Do you have a unique and creative idea for an eye catching table design? If so, FurnitureLab, a leading hospitality furniture maker, is hosting a national design contest for all those interested in creating a graphic table top for an exciting opportunity to win a trip to attend The Hospitality Design Expo in Las Vegas on May 18-20, 2011.
The theme for FurnitureLab's table design competition is to create a dynamic graphic around the theme of "travel", where contestants are encouraged to think about what travel means to them and then effectively illustrate that on a table top. Participants can submit a collage, illustration, use artwork or photographs - anything goes! FurnitureLab staff will judge all entries and select a winning design that will come to life on a 24" table that will be displayed prominently at their booth during The HD Expo. Entries will be judged on creativity, aesthetics and how well the design translates on a horizontal table surface. The deadline for submission is Thursday, March 31 and there's no entry fee.
The winning designer will receive complimentary admission to The HD Expo, a special award during the show, a $500 gift prize to cover round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations in Las Vegas, a feature on FurnitureLab's website, and the actual table!
