Thermwood Announces New eCabinet Systems Update

Thermwood Announces New eCabinet Systems UpdateDale, IN - Thermwood Corporation, the leading supplier of CNC routers and founder of eCabinet Systems, the world’s largest cooperative of custom woodworking shops, announces that it has released a new update for their current software Version 6.

This release has numerous new features. One of the main additions is a new construction joint called the Lock Dado. This new construction method is comprised of our blind dado design and incorporates the Hafele Rafix knock-down fasteners. The Lock Dado joint gives the quick assembly of the Rafix fasteners but also adds the strength of the blind dado joint. The fasteners can be used as a way of holding the pieces together instead of clamps if using glue, but no glue is necessary, so replacement part installation is quick and easy.

Thermwood Announces New eCabinet Systems Update“The Lock Dado joint is a powerful, extremely flexible addition that gives the strength of a blind dado with the option of knock-down and replace construction.” says eCabinet Systems Lead Tester, Scott Vaal.

Other additions are the ability to add integrated drawer slide holes such as those used by MetaBox to back side and drawer fronts, as well as the ability to add edge banding to stretchers.

With the addition of the new construction joint, and the popular assembly marks to eCabinet Systems, this total and complete solution from Thermwood delivers increased productivity as well as faster assembly time.

Thermwood is a US company with distributors worldwide and provides extensive and complete support, installation, training & ongoing service including custom programming and production assistance.
