Event company recapitalizes millwork firm

WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Salem Sports Events (Salem), LLC, the premier provider of temporary and permanent custom interiors, commercial signage, and mobile experiential marketing programs for esteemed clients such as the PGA Tour, Nike, FedEx, and Tito's, has announced the recapitalization of Extreme Millwork in High Point, NC. 

For more than two decades, Extreme Millwork has offered innovative and contemporary custom millwork solutions for commercial, residential, and specialty construction projects spanning across the Triad, NC region and nationwide.

Sam Adams, who has owned Extreme Millwork since 2019, enthusiastically echoed Ickes’s sentiments. “This recapitalization marks a pivotal moment for Extreme Millwork. Joining the Salem team opens up new horizons for us, enabling the expansion of our expertise into exciting new verticals. This enhances our capacity to provide dynamic, bespoke solutions that perfectly align with the ever-evolving demands of the commercial millwork sector,” Adams said.

Salem Sports Events currently runs two expansive manufacturing, fabrication, and printing facilities in Winston-Salem and Kernersville, NC. The company is now set to incorporate Extreme Millwork's 18,000 sq. ft. custom carpentry shop in High Point, NC, further bolstering its rapidly growing production capacities.

Collaborating closely with architects, designers, and general contractors, Salem specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of unique commercial, hospitality, and retail interior and exterior environments for any size project. Mr. Adams will step into the role of Director of Commercial Construction, overseeing all commercial projects for the company.
