EL RENO, Okla. - At a January 2019 meeting of the Gemini Industries, Inc. board of directors, Chris Hicks was unanimously selected as President and CEO of Gemini Industries, Inc. becoming the 5th President and CEO in Gemini’s 54 year history.

Hicks joined Gemini in December, 2012 after a 22 year career owning his own rep-agency which included representing the Gemini coatings line.  Prior to being named President and CEO, Hicks had risen to be the Vice President of Sales.

Hicks attended Dallas Baptist University where he played collegiate baseball.  He has a lovely wife Carrie as well as two daughters.

Hicks is passionate about employee ownership, focusing on the bottom line and driving shareholder value all while having fun.

“The strength of any company, and especially an ESOP, is whether every single employee owner is doing something for the company and thus participating in its success," Hicks says, "not just punching a clock and performing your job duties.  As an owner, are you doing something to make a difference here?”

Chris succeeds David Warren who had served as Gemini’s President and CEO since 2009. Warren succumbed to cancer in October, 2018 at the age of 48 leaving behind a legacy of growing Gemini into one of the leading independent coatings companies in North America.
